Same with Phoenix. I was in Phoenix in December a number of years ago and they had a dusting of snow. Kind of weird. I'm sure that hasn't happened often, but it happens once in a while in places you wouldn't expect to see it.
Vegas and Phoenix would be characterized as weather events. It wouldn't be considered climate change until it became a more common event, or until average temperatures over a 30 year period changed significantly.
