Has changed since 1936. but his concepts still apply to today's racing. Especially the chapters on ground loss exhaustion and the reading of result charts apply very nicely to today's handicapping. Jerry Brown the creator of the thorograph sheets claimed at the handicapping expo in 2004 that this book was an important uncredited source for much of what both thorograph and ragazon sheets do today.
