I get some stuff from overseas, new charges at the docks are so high some places are throwing fish and other refrigerated stuff off the boats while at sea. The buyers are backing out due to the costs.
There is a tea shortage. Coca Cola owns the tea market for sales to restaurants in the U.S. as of last Friday at noon they had no tea at all in the U.S. Their number 1 seller, Gold Peak is out of stock for the next 2 weeks. Guess what I use………?
Flour resources are getting low. Due to transportation issues.
Believe it or not the potato suppliers are having problems too.
3 days before Thanksgiving 2 trucks carrying 2000 Butterball Turkeys disappeared while traveling across the northern mid west. No sign of the birds or the trucks yet………guess what company they were delivering to………yep….you’re right.
I’m buying from local retail outlets if I can afford their prices. There is a Sam’s club 500 yards behind my business. It’s been a godsend
