They were close on the Pace Projector with the 10 shown one position ahead of the 3.
I'm not sure why anyone would expect a horse ridden by Irad and trained by Chad Brown to be gunning out of the gate regardless of the course condition. It just doesn't happen. I imagine Irad mostly does what he is told, and why wouldn't he? You don't bite the hand that feeds you.
