Been to Fairmount a few times to bet simulcasting and watch a few live races; old beat up place, but its still a racetrack which is fine by me. Really hate that they tax your winning bets-I vowed never to go back.
Just bought a piece of a 2 y/o filly that may be running later this summer at Arlington. Love that Chicago area traffic

I hope slots are finally approved. The purses at Arlington have increased from last year, however, the horsemen are suing to get the recapture reimbursement from the State. It's an up hill battle, but it seems like it's on the uptick compared to other years. I too have a small ownership interest in a 2YO filly for a partnership I've been in for a few years. After the purse account issue is handled I hope a dirt track is in its future.
