I always thought one of the leading riders down there, Humberto Enriquez would turn up in the states when AC closed down, but I don't know what happened to him. He seemed real good at detecting any track bias. I remember in an early route race he must have went 5 wide all the way around the track and won going away. At first I though what the hell is he doing? He sniffed out an obvious dead inside of the track. Any horse that moved to the inside made it look like they were running in quick sand.
