Just want to reinforce what the posters above have said about HTR. And that it will take you a little while to figure out how to use it best. It's a weapon, a tool, not a black box and the users deploy them differently. I wouldn't say the spot plays are a gold mine -- its tough to find ones that stand up over time -- but the Robot database is great for spotting trends or even checking up on trainer and jockey records.
The best part of it is that it lays out what you need to handicap a race in graphical ways that are easy to grasp. There are plenty of tools and its up to you to decide the ones that work best for you.
Will it turn a losing player into a winning one? Cant promise that, but it will certainly help.
