Getting back on topic, I'll throw two theories out there.
1) Do enough people know that Mountaineer is running again. Sure, the hardcores here know it, but maybe the word is not out the way it was about other tracks?
2) For all of the talk about handle being "up" it was actually down 30% year over year in May. That's with no on-track attendance, yes, but also no competition from professional sports. Perhaps expecting handle to match past years is unrealistic at this point of time except for the very top tracks?
