What is your take on last night?

My takeaways on the winners are:

1. Trump won in more ways than one. He now has a foil in Pelosi with which he can blame for problems that come up. He also showed that he can get candidates across the finish line first if they follow him and he supports them. He was by far the biggest winner last night, and showed everyone that 2016 was no accident. Whether you like him or not, his base is powerful and elected several senators last night that were going to lose without Trumps support.
2. Conservatives won in that they have a strong majority in the senate with which to appoint more conservatives to the bench.
3. Pelosi and the dems in the House. They have power now but need to use it wisely. Investigating Trump would be huge FOR Trump. If Pelosi decides to work with Trump on healthcare, immigration, and the debt, then I believe the dems can make additional gains in 2020. But can they?

The losers are:

1. Rinos. An endangered species it would appear. If you aren't what the GOP needs into the future, then you might as well run as a dem because rank and file GOP don't want you.
2. Obama. The big races he supported all lost. He has negative coattails.
3. Big money. How can you spend $120M in Texas and lose the race? $5B overall was spent on this election, with the majority on democrats. All there is to show for it is a very slim majority in the House with a greater deficit in the Senate. With Trump on the 2020 ballot, I expect big money will do even worse.
4. Hollywood. They may love your movies and your music, but nobody gives a damn about your politics.
