A lot of those hats don't need to be worn very long, even back when I made my own products pre 2008 recession and had full time employees, and a hell of a lot more machinery. Sometimes I would get a run of bad luck and I would have to play CNC repair tech and electrician every day for weeks at a time, then I would go a year and not even change a light bulb.
