To me, this is one of the 50 yard line rides. The horse was bearing out and it got worse when he went left, but then he correctly switched right and seemed to have the issue under control. Then he stopped riding and cost himself 3rd. That's why I said he may have felt something he didn't like in the horse's action and was being safe. Horses often bear in or out when they are hurting a bit. Other than that, he blew 3rd.
