The issue isn't as political as you may think. It is actually something the Supreme Court should have heard but continues to deflect it to the lower courts. NJ's casinos and racetracks have the ability to do sports wagering based on how the bills(s)were initially written and then re-written. The third circuit has now ruled on this twice they cannot have a three judge panel rule on this they need all 23 judges to rule on it, why? Because the ruling will eventually open the doors to every other state to follow suit and legalize sports wagering in some way shape or form. The sad part is the courts seem to look at the fantasy sports leagues as a non-betting entity where it is more like a lottery, based on how it is played. That is a crock of crap and only gives more ammunition to the state of NJ to get sports wagering approved.
