What is sad is that you didn’t even understand what my post was about. My post was a refutation of your claim that gasoline sales increased from 2020 to 2021. Here are the facts from the link in my post.
22,800.8 23,314.2 18,507.6 12,367.5 15,628.3 19,072.7 20,558.5 20,619.1 20,467.9 20,680.7 19,034.8 18,695.8
2021 18,090.5 18,488.8 20,058.9 20,827.2 12,225.7 4,943.8 4,836.4 4,802.0 4,708.1 4,584.5 4,548.5 4,435.9
2022 5,305.1 5,585.4 5,493.2
Looking month by month, you can see that Americans consumed more gasoline in 2020 than in 2021 in every month except March and April.
What you fail to comprehend is that both in barrels of oil produced and gallons of gasoline consumed, the figures shown are barrels/gallons per day. You can’t just add the numbers and come up with any sensible resultt.
