both were quite idiotic for the time. it looks like Biden wanted to outdo Trump with the sanctions.
personally, i think the damage has been done, and reversing them won't help much. they are probably going to take us to war soon.

In the commodities I bought for my business, the impact of the tariffs which were extreme, as suppliers used them for excuses for excessive price increases had finally come back to Earth for the most part before Biden took office.
