He honed his instincts as a TV showman. The same medium his base understands and adores. He is a jackass on the world stage and in national politics, but can put on a great show with all the commercials in the right places

There is no equivalency on the other side. No matter all the ridiculous "whatboutisms" babbled by his supporters. Mattere of fact he destroyed the republican party replacing long standing political norms with Trumpism.
On a positive note, we just witnessed the renunciation of Trumpism on Nov 7th.
