Not being a mind-reader, can you or anyone else say, with 100% certainty, that they would have run in the other 2 TC races even if they were not taken down?
No, you cannot.
Given the poor sportsmanship shown by taking toys and going home, I don't usually expect people who show bad sportsmanship to suddenly show some. You know, when your kid acts like that in school after a game they lose, they usually send your kid to the shrinks to find out why they can't play right with others.
Life throws a lot of both fair and unfair things at all of us......it's how you handle them that counts. Winning doesn't make you a big person...how you handle losing is part of the big picture.
