Changing gun laws is mostly a conservative issue; so, although there probably would be protests, they wouldn't so easily become violent.
There is no clear definition of what being "woke" is; however, the term is generally applied to progressives.
Progressives supporting "woke" issues tend to express discontent using or encouraging violence more often than not and certainly more often than conservatives.
