I think she would wait until 2028.Let's assume Trump runs in 2020 and wins.IF Pence wants the job in 2024, he'd be the front runner for the nomination..But it's difficult for the same party to win 3 times in a row.That sets her up for 2028;she'll only be 56 that year.She has a lot of appeal but she also has to be kept in the public eye.The next SC governor election is this
year, so obviously that's out.I doubt that Lindsay Graham or Tim Scott will retire and the House of Representatives would be seen as a step backward for her political future.
