His ship has sailed here. After his "Hell yes I'll take your guns" comment, it lifted the hood off his head. During his run for senate he never mentioned gun confiscation (because he was never seriously asked about it). Most dems here see him as a joke now. He's toast in regards to any serious position, election wise
