Maybe I should sit and watch the first one, at least give it a good try.
As for Star Trek, the last one I remember was where Spock talks to the whale in modern day CA. Hmm, I remember Spock dying too, don't know if that was the same one or the one after. I couldn't get into the newer Star Treks with the new cast.
