I remember as a kid back in the 60's, he would buy blocks of time from one of the local TV stations , which I'm sure he did nationwide, and have his evangelical rallies usually from a big outdoor stadium or indoor colesium.He also served as an unofficial religious advisor to presidents like Eisenhower and Nixon.And long before it was accepted by much of mainstream America, he preached to racially integrated crowds at his events.
