retiring the horse and bringing him back for 1 race to make the fans happy is great hype, especially when they are probably going to get an appearance fee and win the lion's share of the $10 million purse.

Two weeks? The race isn't until March 31. We're talking about him starting stud in mid-April. That's 2 months of a 4-month season. No way. They lose all their stallion contracts (if not sued over any of them). If starting stud after the DWC was a good idea, people would've been doing it every year.
