She wouldn't go to the cops now because of a little thing called the statute of limitations. And she did not go to the press either. The Washington Post found her after hearing stories from other sources. She spoke to them reluctantly at first, then decided to cooperate and use her name because she felt that Moore should not be allowed to go unpunished for her actions.
The WAPO did not just publish the story willy nilly.. They spoke to more than thirty people who corroborated the story. They confirmed the timeline and the whereabouts of the principals
Can I prove you wrong. No, I can't, but somebody can and will. And when they do, it will make no difference in your opinion. It never has and it never will. But that won't make you any less wrong.
