Where was the security when REPUBLICANS from CONGRESS were being SHOT AT and very almost MURDERED IN PUBLIC way back in 2017?

THIS IS DEFINITELY NOT NECESSARY, but here we are...still with thousands of TROOPS in DC.
It's a ****ing circus clown NONSENSE show, but nobody here even slightly left of center (and many even right of center) are too afraid to call them out on their complete and utter BULLSHIT NONSENSE.
