I agree. It was what it was meant to be and just what he needed. He did it the hard way with a wide trip to give him a good tightener. He finished strong with a good TFUS rating for a prep race. He was the top 3YO up to and including the Derby, ran the best race there., earning a better TG figure than the winner. He was the best before his layoff and with normal development and a good prep should be ready for to resume in the Travers and BC classic.
