No disagreement here that without covid19 these folks would have lived longer.
The problem is that with what we know today, there is really little good reason to continue the draconian shutdown measures on the
very large majority of people who are not at significant risk themselves to the virus. And for the concern of them passing it on, there is again very little risk to those within that same very large majority. As to the significantly smaller group of people who are vulnerable or at risk, reasonable and adequate means can be implemented to protect THEM, while allowing the rest of us to return to the freedoms we were enjoying earlier this year.
It would seem that the reasons for continuing the draconian shutdown measure on the vast majority of us are mostly not medically or science-based, but rather for pushing POLITICAL agendas and ideology, which uses the unwarranted propagation of fear.
