i watched the video and that sums up the way this place is. but what is more important is how this country got to this point.
you have to start to when the country was founded, it was started with conservative values with immigration rules. for the most part the largest influx of immigration took place starting after world war 1. the people that came tended to stay in the same sections and brought their own customs with them. but there were rules in place to become citizens here and the values that founded this country didn't change that much. fast forwarding to where we are today, we have let go of our standards. everytime you call a company on the telephone you are going to press 1 for hispanic, 2 for english or 9 for something else. the people that come here sometimes never learn the language. then we have to deal with the process of people trying to get into this country from the southern border that were oppressed by the place they came from. the rules allowing this to occur were not put in place by Democrats, President Reagan and Bush allowed for more people to cross the border and get processed this side of it. so what we have today is a culmination of the problem with so many people getting through the border with the side that caused the problem originally blaming Democrats for not doing anything about it.
part of the reason why these policies were lax were because there was a shortage of labour to do menial jobs at low wages. fast forwarding to today, the whole thing has blown up to out of proportion. the way the politics of this country has turned out is one side constantly blames the other for the problems and takes credit for the accomplishments and also profits financially from the inefficiencies in the cracks.
now for sure, i loved President Reagan and think he is one of the better Presidents. he made moves including his tinkering with immigration policies with the good of the courntry in mind.
