Are you misreading my post? For your edification, I said the dem's misread the voting bloc, which led to the defeat of their preferred candidate. They took for granted Crowley would win.
Yes, the dems need to consider this result very carefully, thus my comments about the resources they may or may not commit to her campaign. It is not about being competitive, it is about the message the party sends about its feelings regarding the candidate.
