Just muddying the water a little to provide a viable defense. I don't see how it works though. The armorer is responsible at all times for what occurs on set. Even if a live round had been inserted, she should have checked the gun again before calling it cold. Honestly, the guns should be in her possession or close proximity at ALL times. There is no defense for negligence.
