My take is that where the Democrats ran young, progressive candidates such as they did in the House, they won. Where they ran old mealy mouthed look at me, I'm a moderate candidates they lost.
Nelson in Florida, Donnelly in Indiana, and McCaskill in Missouri all ran as centrists, they all lost. And while there were several progressive candidates such as Gillum, Abrams and O'Rourke who also lost, all of them ran much closer races than expected.
The thing now is not to oppose just to oppose, but also not to be afraid to oppose. And, for God's sake, use the subpoena power.
