Rivera/Chromium almost put the the second choice
over the rail in that race. It was the type of foul where players gathered let out a gasping "OH!!". There was absolutely no doubt that it warranted a DQ.
I can empathize if he felt that the race-call was a bit unprofessional. I can also empathize if the stewards made some kind of official comment that regarding 'intent' and that was his gripe.
Yes they were a tag-team entry who used tried to help each other. That's fine with me. The problem happened when the jock of the 1a messed up. Had he secured the path and slowed his rival, they would have gotten paid. He went too far and ping-ponged the 3, and blew it.
