I don't know the first thing about this guy, but you nailed what a lot of these nut jobs are. Lone wolfs. Can't function in a team or social environment. Can't hold a Job, relationship, etc... And they're smarter than everyone else, in their own mind. No conspiracy usually, just a mentally ill nut.
