Bit of an odd scenario. A Kentucky Oaks contender last year coming off a long layoff and first start back is on turf for a trainer that tries to avoid turf like the plague.
Also, went from being prepared for a sprint comeback to apparently being ready to go 9 furlongs right off the bench only a week later.
That's 2 horrendous races in a row for her; doesn't bode well for the future. There's been a few of those in that barn recently (Private Mission, Grace Adler).
