Just a little update on my health. As many of you know, I had a quadruple bypass in 2022 and a laryngectomy in 2023.
All things considered, I am doing fairly well. I have completed 8 of 33 radiation treatments and I am NOT due to have chemo. I can only speak with a device and my hearing and vision have declined. The radiation has not yet significantly impacted me. I usually walk without assistance. I go to the doctor a LOT. A couple of weeks ago I had day surgery and that went well. My appetite and eating have been good.
I rest a lot, but I am able to do a limited amount of normal chores. Helping with grocery shopping, getting out the trash, etc. Fortunately I have a wonderful wife and she is doing most of the driving and cooking. I am still in business, but my time for that is somewhat limited with all of my healthcare right now. Hopefully I will be spending less time with doctors in a few weeks.
