I like the rules modification regarding entries - gives players a choice
As I understand it, if you specifically like only one half of the entry (which is often the case),
you state that on your play naming only the horse you like.
If your named horse happens to be scratched, you are not stuck with the other horse.
Should you like both horses, then put
/
and name them both.
Easy peezy.
It makes the scoring harder, but it's a nice change.
