Question on Belmont Turf Courses
Since the distance from the finish line to the clubhouse turn at Belmont Park is 843 feet (while the distance from the last turn to the finish line is 1,097 feet), I am speculating that the distance from the finish line to the clubhouse turn on both turf courses is 678 feet (in that 678 feet is 165 feet, or 1/32 of a mile, less than 843 feet).
Can any of you distinguised gentlemen confirm this?
