SP for midweek cheap claimers from an AW circuit are always high because bookmakers protect themselves from the hidden info and pitfalls those type of horses have. SP on the Queen Anne at Royal Ascot was 19% overround and with best prices on the market the overround was around 5%
Ive watched enough price evolutions on punters.com.au for aussie racing and usually books open for overnight/early morning action at like 35% hold to protect themselves but as it gets close to post time it gets down to reasonable levels. Like here was the Cup market prices.
