Seriously cracks me up how many people think the monsoon rains in Arcadia this year and these breakdowns are just a big coincidence...
It's the same horseman running there that have been there forever, using the same drugs they have used forever and the same drugs their counterparts across the country use.
Meanwhile Arcadia has the most rain it has seen in decades...
Now I'm not saying the rain by itself is the entire issue, I don't think the track officials handled the rain up to par with what folks in europe or even the east coast would. Those tracks just get more rain, so they are (obviously) better at handling it.
