As you say there are times when there are 2 or 3 in a race if one should win I just keep track of it although it may not lead to a profit but I track it just the same

So yesterday, from among the group of Morning Lines less than 3-1 on the Aqueduct card, I thought there would only be 3 winners but in fact there were 6 from this group!!!
It looks like you would have hit the late pick 3 races 7,8,9 or 8,9,10 and these were singles if you played that way
It probably didn't pay much but you would have cashed out in any case!!!
I am using the word "Favorite" to specify the group of lowest odds and not just the actual lowest odds in a race sorry for any confusion
