It is out of line to suggest that Rubio was responsible for student deaths, which he implied. To then turn on McCain certainly hints at the same thing. Linking politicians and the NRA in the context of an emotional rant about a school shooting certainly implies some responsibility on the part of the politicians.
Those are cheap shots that will do nothing to address the problem and show a very tenuous grasp of reality.
Why would the NRA not contribute to politicians that agree with their views? Why would a politician not accept donations from an organization that supported his views? How would Rubio or McCain turning down such donations make the world a better place where we could all live happily ever after?
