I have no solution. Just avoid many races at NYRA in turf routes, especially at the higher class levels.
In those cheap races, you many times get more action early.

Question. Why not handicap the turf routes using the info you have based on the way these races are contested?
At the end of the day, it makes no difference how they run the race. As handicappers, we have to figure that out.
