I gave up harness racing in the early 80's.....
I worked with a guy that owned a trotter...he won his first race at the Medowlands and did nothing afterwards....
He used to talk to Carmine Abbatiello often and got tips on his rides , so we ventured out to Yonkers and Roosevelt a few times a week....
Thats when I realized tips are shit....we lost on what he gave us and he won on the ones that he didn't give us....
It was over for me !!
