To blame the decline of Santa Anita on Dubai is simplistic. Itís way more complicated than that. Competition is supposed to help the quality of a product, itís the American way. Why didnít Santa Anita raise their purses to compete with Dubai? We all know the answer to that.
Nice read though. I do like the Pegasus and will watch every race tomorrow. I just wonder how long Gulfstream can sustain losing money every year on the event.
