This is another reason I'd like to see them revise the way they set up conditions for races. There are so many horses that can't compete with even average speed, that I think trainers and jocks...

Maybe they could use a lighter weighted whip. Horses like most animals are creatures of habit. After they've been trained, I think they would respond to the whip just out of habit, but not being a...

I can see where this might be nice for the trainer and owner, but why make it more complicated for the gambler? If you just base the horses ability competitively by similar statistics, you're not...

Would You Like to See Racing Conditions Revised?

Seems like most races are set up by age, past races won and weight.
I would like to see more races based on final times, speed rating, total money earned by a horse, distance and maybe class. Tired of...

Just seems to me that there are jockeys that have been riding 5,6 years or more who are low percentage riders, but getting mounts, while others who can ride more competitive aren't getting enough...

Everybody that's a patron of Paceadvantage must'a weighed in on this one.

Might be a bit extreme, but I'd like to see jockeys that can't maintain a 20% in the money status phased out, making...

A few years ago, would have said Dominguez, then Bejarano, but now it's Joel Rosario. The guys as good as anybody.
Johnny V. isn't exactly over the hill. I would at least put him in the top 10.

Jockeys that deserve more mounts, or less mounts?

There's some jockey's I wouldn't mind seeing on more mounts. Don't even know if he's still riding but Hiram G. Rivera was one. John Bisono at Parx usually knows what to do when he gets a good mount....

I do like the 4+ lb. factor ( I was trying to use 3+)... sometimes it's hard to find a significant horse with a weight drop off unless it has a apprentice jock.

Only difference for me, is I tend to look a little more for long shots as F&M tend to be a little more erratic in form than males in my opinion.

A Debate on Weight?

I think horses ought to be given a weight allowance as they grow older. Maybe after they reach the age of 6 or 7.... 7 or 8 ???... especially in the lower claiming races.
It's really debatable how...
