It's that 11% category that is enticing. It's half again what the $10.01 to $20 is, but the sky is the limit on return, rather than being capped at $20. Patience, discipline, and guts are all you...

Freakin' LOL.

The horse doesn't know it's being penalized, but the owner paying 3 months of bills while his horse is busting the stall door down sure would be.

The way I understand it, they aren't winning it. They are playing for a high .90s ROI and taking profit for the most part in rebates.

I finished that book "Six Habits of Successful Bettors" and...

Hey Dave, thanks for the response and the effort to correct the perception I put forward.

Two questions, and very likely you've answered them in the past.

The only way that would make sense would be if the fav was 4/5, moved up to 6/5, and they had $30K to win on it. Then the increase in price on the fav would offset the money needed to move :8:'s...

Again, looking at this info a little closer, you're missing 29 payoffs of the 20195 races in 2018, and 1070 payoffs in 2010. I was trying to put some percentages together, but your data is flawed....

About 1 out of every 8 races pays $20+ to win. This is very interesting, and the fact it hasn't changed much in 8 years, very hopeful.
