They have used these systems for cross country track races since the 80's. Able to time all the competitors during the race.

Makes Beyer's and Briss figures any where from 3 to 9 points higher. 3 points probably does not effect me in a negative way, 5 or higher will make a difference. Nice catch.

Amazing, in the replay you can see a little white box just past the starter. Used that as the starting and ending point and timed the race twice, and was right on the 1:41 time they reported.
