I don't understand why you don't rate the AEs. The AE horses provide great opportunities when they get in.

Supplementary Nominations
In today's second race at Belmont (Clm 12500) there are three horses that are supplementary nominations. I've heard of supplementing into big races but a 12500 claimer. What does it mean? Good or bad?

Justify ownership
I just read an article in the New York Times saying Justify was 15% owned by a group headed by George Soros. Another reason to hope he loses.

Justify loses
Two reasons not to pick justify. First no horse has won the triple crown when facing more than seven other horses. Second, since Beyer numbers have been used no horse in contention to win the triple...

A friend of mine was watching TVG the other afternoon and the program was about angles and such. One of the angles mentioned was something called the calendar angle. Does anyone know what it is?

Opitional claiming races
In these type of races is it a good or bad sign when the trainer opts to put his horse up for the claiming price?

I'm a big fan of the "first time gelding" angle. Does anyone know of any trainer stats that pertain to this angle.

tough beat
Hey Beta, that was a tough beat on the Phat Man in race seven at Keeneland. Those are the kind of races that drive people crazy. You're right but not lucky. Anyways that was a good pick.
