Watching Late Night Races on TVG
 

I usually watch a few races every night at bedtime, so no program or phone with the numbers and names. For fun, I try and pick winners by their looks in the paddock or post parade and make a mental note of their number.


However, sometimes I never know the results. Usually the running order is not shown on the screen during the race (except Hong Kong). This makes it very difficult as the camera angles are not good. The announcer calls the horses by name but I don't have a program so it is difficult to match the name with a number. Same color saddle cloths make it tougher. They go right to another track a few seconds after the race!



They do seem to call close finishes within seconds something we can't seem to do in the USA.



It would be so much better if they displayed running order and had our system of saddle cloths.


I assume this is the host track feed. Don't know why the punters wouldn't like our graphics. Of course they don't go for the detailed pps either!

Most other countries show some sort of running order or tracking. The issue is that these are deliberately a clean feed.
