George Floyd/Chauvin trial

Of course, Al Sharpton there right in the middle of things.

Prosecution making a very solid case. Too bad it is being totally tainted and losses credibility with the asshole being there. Loudmouths like him make less likely people will take this seriously. This pig causes problems, solves none.

I support police 100%.

That being said, this is a bad look, a really bad look.

I hate dating those boarded up widows.

Sharpton looking for some more donations for his 'cause' from Floyd family and friends, and maybe a government position to help fill the diversity spots.

While the MSM trashes the defense, what they'd really like is an acquittal. Particularly CNN and MSNBC, who's ratings have tanked. They need the riots, killing, and mayhem to pour their ignorance over.
I find the entire event boring, since the purpose isn't justice, but instead a political narrative the left is fixed on.

The video is pretty hard to watch.
That little Nazi cop - the bald one - what a POS.
Himmler would have loved him.

Do we really want cops of this low caliber carrying guns on our streets?

The question is, if the crowd pleading for the monster to stop had been white, would he have?
I have serious questions about that - they guy strike me as a POS who gets his kick abusing his power.

I hope he is found guilty and given the max - it is clearly, to me, murder.
When you have your knee in a guy's neck and demand he get up, your a sick MF. Had a citizen shot and killed the cop during that, I would have given him a medal.

I can't quite understand what this means:

https://www.cbsnews.com/live-updates...al-2021-03-30/

Quote:

Following opening statements, prosecutors called to the stand a 911 dispatcher who said she called a police sergeant when she saw officers restraining Floyd on video footage from a camera across the street.
She saw officers restraining Floyd on video footage from a camera across the street?

911 dispatchers have access to live camera feeds?

I never knew that.

It's getting more popular to have these types of cameras in big cities. I have a friend from the UK and he says over there they have 10 cameras on every street corner. "Petrol Stations" still let you pump and then pay, because if you skip out on your bill they can track anyone down using the cameras.

Oh yeah, I know the cameras are everywhere.

I just didn't realize 911 dispatchers had these at their fingertips. Makes sense.

So I guess they are also monitoring these cameras when they are not taking calls? Again...makes sense.

I'm guessing they jump to the feed whenever a call from that area comes in. Supposedly in this case there were several calls to 911 from people "calling the police on the police"
