Global cooling

I'm old enough to remember when global cooling was thought to be settled science.

At that time, we were supposed to paint our roofs black to capture the warmth.

Fear sells and suspends logical thinking in many.

I’d like to be first to know which company will license the patent. ;)

Too bad your home will also be colder in the winter, and you will need to burn more fossil fuels.

Hard to believe the social collapse and government meltdown we're trying to live through, and people worry about the climate.
I once thought this was mostly a political ploy by the left, but after years of brainwashing and media lies, many are convinced its a real concern.
Real scientist will say with 70 miles of atmosphere covering the earth, its virtually impossible to contaminate it enough to notice any change. Laws of atmospheric stability agree strongly.
Then there are scientist tied to the far-left narrative that will tell you anything to convince you we're all gonna die. Donations and other forms of bribery keep them alive and well and in most cases, very wealthy.
Common sense and a little knowledge of basic science is all one needs to make up their own minds. The former requirement is what most lack.

as far as i know, The American Society of Engineers has no political agenda.
